Christopher’s proposal to Elizabeth is that of a fairytale. The beautiful couple got engaged while at a castle in Europe, and wanted their wedding flowers to not only reflect their elegant style, but also the rich natural style of their engagement.
Our lovely bride wears a long fitted blue mermaid style dress that compliments the lush earthy greens that covers her tablescape.
Our forest themed look has accents of succulents , peacock feathers, and blue mercury glass. The barked wood containers, driftwood, ferns, and moss add to the woodsy aesthetics of the photo shoot. Instead of a traditional white dress this bride chose blue embrace the dress her mother wore almost 30 years ago for her wedding. The orchids were the first flower she fell in love with on her journey to becoming a floral designer.
To get married with Dilly Lily flowers, surrounded by nature would be a dream come true.
Ally and Ben’s Chicago wedding was filled with love, happiness and peonies! The Dilly Lily had a great time designing and delivering the urban-rustic inspired florals for this fun and elegant wedding at Loft on Lake!
The birch pole Chuppah was lightly decorated with white blooms, seeded eucalyptus and vines trailing loosely across the birch.
Following the wedding trends, Ally chose burlap table runners, mercury vases with soft and romantic vintage florals as her theme.
A lifetime of happiness to the happy couple!
We had a wonderful time working with everyone that made Ali and Ben’s special day perfect!
We wanted to share a great fall wedding to kick off the season!
Megan and Bryan met in medical school and fell in love during their summer break. Their beautiful wedding ceremony was held at the Hyatt Lodge in Oak Brook, Illinois. This natural garden style wedding was filled with rich texture and a few unexpected pieces!
Megan carried a free flowing bouquet that was trailing and cascading. Her bouquet was filled with blush and ivory garden roses, green bouvardia, scabiosa, sedum, Mozart calla lilies, with finishes of ivory, banyon and hanging amaranths. If you take a closer look you might be able to spot the stunning pomegranate blossoms.
As the night came to a close the party got a little wild with the traditional garter toss.
We love special touches! What could be better then Megan’s handmade vail.
A soft glow filled the Elysian Hotel as Janna and Kevin celebrated their vows. Every detail was perfected from the folds of the napkins to the petals on the peonies. The tables were overflowing with flowers. What a lovely evening!
A clean and simple modern lounge was set at the Holiday Inn Merchandise Mart for Chelsea and Andy’s chic Chicago wedding reception. A single stunning coral peony was a the splash that was needed. Congratulations!
Congratulations to Mabby and Sara! The Ravenswood Billboard Factory in Chicago was the perfect backdrop for their beautiful union. We filled their vintage tins with simple blooms and natural cotton and absorbed a bit of Chicago history. Stay tuned.. more pictures to follow … the professional ones;)
