Chicago’s Local Flower Farmers

With the Summer sun in full force we have the opportunity to fully support Chicagoland’s natural flower farms. Our local growers deliver the freshest summer flowers in bright and abundant colors! We take pride of not only having beautiful unique flowers in our bouquets, but also supporting our natural local partners whenever possible. Take a look below at what they brought us this week!

Picking from our favorite local fresh flowers, Christine Noelle put together this bridal, garden bouquet– perfect for any casual Summer Wedding!

Happy Summer!

Vieques Island

To escape the Chicago cold, Dilly Lily’s very own Christine took a trip down to Puerto Rico’s Vieques Island to relax and gain some inspiration for our next island wedding!

 Until next time Vieques Island!

Boxes of Flowers

These fabric covered boxes make beautiful vessels for our flowers and after the flowers fade, they can hold the other jewels in your life.

We all decided that it would make a lovely present for a special day (or anyday, really!!!)

Take a Seat!

Today we made a simple bouquet of peach and bordeaux callas with a dash of fiddlehead ferns wrapped up in the most elegant embroidered ribbon – Delicious!

Perfect for the Modern Bride!

Limoncello, Anyone?

I just love the citrus colors of her bouquet they are so vibrant they almost don’t look real, not sure if the picture does them justice. The sharp green cymbidiums are beautifully detailed and fragrant!

So fresh! Might try making lemoncello di lucia tonight!

All For the Love of Flowers…

We hope to share with you our love of flowers and give you a glimpse of the many beautiful arrangements and weddings that are created in our flower shop in Chicago. If you are in the neighborhood, please stop in and say hello.

I have the butterflies, do you?
