Buzz

We were so flattered to be asked by the American celebrity wedding planner David Tutera to create this abundant  fall centerpiece for his segment on the The Steve Harvey Show! He was the special guest this week for a DIY Wedding Show. David shared some of his tips and trade secrets for the do-it-yourself bride. The audience loved him! So did we! Check out his new signature stationary, Cards by David Tutera here!  This segment will air this September. If you simply can’t wait, see more of his tips on David’s blog!

This segment is perfect for all you brides out there who are great with a hot glue gun and garden shears. It was about using what is in your own backyard and available at your local farmers markets!

We found beautiful sunflowers, dahlias, vibernum berry, salvia, sedum, and kale at our market to create these fresh fall arrangements. Then we used bittersweet to flow from one piece to the next for added drama. The vases were created by cutting up branches from the backyard and hot gluing them all around the sides then finished off with a ribbon accent . This is a process best suited for the advanced DIY bride so gather your bridesmaid and make a day of it! If your not up for the challenge best to hire a professional to help.

It was a great day filled new friends and exciting new opportunities! Congratulations to Steve Harvey he is a great addition to Chicago TV! He’s such a well dressed comedian.

And thank you again to David Tutera and his team- looking forward to our next collaboration!

Have a Dilly Lily Day!
